2025 Volvo Trucks VHD 400 AB

The VHD 400 axle back sleeper configuration provides the industry’s tightest turning radius, with a wheel cut up to 50 degrees, for maximum maneuverability. The 400B also is available with Volvo Dynamic Steering to compensate for the steering jolts commonly associated with off highway operations.

The revolutionary Dynamic Steering system is now available on the VHD. VDS offers a safer, more comfortable experience operating on the jobsite.

  • Volvo I-Shift with Crawler Gears

The crawler option offers one or two additional gears to the innovative I-Shift. The low and ultra-low gears can deliver power and control in demanding situations.

  • Enhanced Volvo Active Driver Assist

Next generation VADA technology is now available in the VHD. The system integrates radar and camera technologies, providing constant monitoring of obstacles in front of the truck.
